The Palm House of Knitters
I was up and out early yesterday, putting out a yarn bomb knitted & crocheted by Twisted Stitchers (read about us in the current (Nov 2013) issue of Red Magazine), at Palm House In Liverpool.
The yarnbomb was part of a craft day. There was an eclectic mix of stalls, including one selling beer, so I bought one for Andy. I noted this morning the empty bottle was in the recycling, so it must’ve gone down well. No better proof, I’d say.
While Andy was enjoying his beer last night, I was out ‘til late at The House of Suarez Vogue Ball at the Camp & Furnace venue in Liverpool’s Baltic area. Different “Houses” perform at the Vogue Ball, and I was part of the House of Twisted Stitchers. The theme was Gods & Monsters, so of course I insisted on being the Goddess, complete with whip, to keep my monsters in line. CRACK!
Excellent fun, roll on next year.
